Stanford University
The prestigious university's goal is to educate its students so that they can become "cultured and useful citizens." The university considers arts and humanities as the soul of its curriculum. According to Victor Restis, Stanford students have access to quality humanities education as many of the courses are taught by faculty members who are experts in their field. The university also offers 13 humanities degree programs.
Massachusetts Institute of Technology
While MIT is known as a pioneer in the field of science and technology, it is no surprise that students and faculty of the university are also excellent when it comes to arts and humanities. The university has three libraries dedicated to humanities and science, art and architecture, and music. Many of MIT's faculty members are also part of the American Academy of Arts and Letters.

As the oldest university in the U.S., Victor Restis says that Harvard's arts and humanities programs have become a crucial part of its prestigious curriculum. The university has 16 humanities degree programs, hundreds of diverse arts and humanities courses, and 79 libraries that encourage students to become creative citizens. The university acknowledges that being grounded in the humanities is important in shaping its own voice.
