What we should know about flipped learning

Freelance writer and education expert Victor Restis says that among the blended learning types that is getting some attention is the ‘flipped learning’ concept because of its radical way of reversing the current setup of traditional teaching. Victor Restis explains that the old way of teaching focuses around the teacher bringing the lecture to the class, presenting its content, answering queries, and giving homework. This method is largely seen as rather passive and ineffective, as only 20% of information gets absorbed by students.
